Accretion of debris in desolate regions

Valentin Popov, a scientist turned creative, has been trained as a chemist and later transitioned into creative roles within the marketing teams of life science businesses. While the fields of chemistry and marketing seem unrelated, the red thread of his journey has always been a desire to create.

He grew up and studied in France before moving to Sweden, where he lived for 5 years. It was during the long Swedish winters that he started exploring visual arts. At the end of 2022, he left Sweden to travel, focus on art, and reevaluate his goals. While traveling, the purpose of exploring affective atmospheres emerged. Additionally, to his art and to satisfy that purpose, he is today in the process of becoming an interior decorator to explore atmospheres further through the design of spaces.
